As the fall season swiftly approaches us so does back to school and re-thinking our fall wardrobe. Once you have finished with books, digs for the dorm room, and all the other school time gear for your Ivy League star; you can then think about yourself. Who is that fashionista? Don’t forget about you. You are the fuel, energy, passion, heart & soul that makes your entire day and household function and your style should function simultaneously with it. Of course every one of us would love to revamp our entire wardrobe each season, but who has the time and the dime to keep up! Upgrade the wardrobe without downgrading the precious dollars you work so hard for, especially in an uncertain economy. We are here to give you the inside scoop on accessory trends to help you look so amazing people will fall right over at the very sight of you. They’ll say, “How does she do it all and look amazing too?”

Now let’s talk fashion gossip for Fall ’08. Fashion jewelry takes on styles at new heights. Thanks to the trend setting S.J. Parker heels have no limits. Rich jewel tones set the tone for the season. Look for mixed materials, textures, prints & patterns; distressed metals, glazed leathers, crazy fringe (a 60’s 70’s thing) & python prints lead the jungle pack.

Fur collars, funky leg wear (in all colors, patterns & textures such as knits), caps with flaps& fedoras with exotic details (feathers or suede cording). The oversized clutch, also known as the envelope clutch, still going strong for the Fall season. The medium size handbag is back into play, and for those of you who live out of your bag, the oversized multi-pocketed ever trendy and functional bag lives on. Look for enormous necklaces and lots of layers, big bling, giant cuff bracelets in you favorite leathers or metals, and the ever stylish giant chandelier earrings which are inspired by the Art Deco period to the new exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, “Superheroes.” Very cool!
